More and more organizations are realizing that
they need to consciously harvest and manage the knowledge within the
organization. One way begin to capture knowledge and increase
team capability is with Project Retrospectives. Retrospectives
are a systematic way to look at the experiences of a project team to
understand what went well, what could be done differently and where
to focus improvement efforts. This workshop prepares the
participants to lead project retrospectives.
Workshop
Overview: This workshops covers the basic structures and
skills required to lead a project retrospective.
Participants will experience a retrospective on a small class
project and will have the opportunity to orchestrate and lead a
portion of a practice retrospective. Each participant will receive
coaching feedback on their practice facilitation.
Audience: Facilitators, OD consultants, leads and team
members who wish to learn how to lead project retrospectives.
Prerequisites:
Facilitation experience is desirable. Comfortable
working in front of groups. Able to read and adapt to what is
happening in the room.
