The ICA Workshop Method

Several people wrote to ask about the details of how I do the card sort thing described here.

The method is explained in detail in The Workshop Book: From Individual Creativity to Group Action (ICA series). I do a few thing differently than described in the book, but the differences are minor and don't change the outcome.

I've used the Workshop method to gain consensus on user classes, features, and risks. I've used it for planning, setting goals, generating options, and identifying benefits.

It's flexible and it works.
