You want to improve the quality of your software products. You want to know why things aren’t working, even after you’ve implemented promising changes.

I can help you discover what really inhibits performance. Using one-on-one interviews, focus groups, observation and artifact review we identify inhibiting factors. In a facilitated session with the appropriate management group, we review, share recommendations, and lay out next steps.

After we’ve decided on a course of action, I work throughout the organization to achieve sustainable change.

Agile Transition

I help companies realize the benefits of Agile methods by guiding change on the team and organizational levels.

My approach to Agile adoption is based on sound organizational theory and principles of agility such as,

  • Understand the current context, and the need and business case for adopting Agile principles and methods
  • Identify high value actions and tackling them first
  • Planning iteratively, and incorporating what you learn in each step to the next round of planning
  • Taking advantage of opportunities as they emerge
